Frequently asked questions.

Which brokers does ThetaWiz work with?
tastytrade and Schwab. You connect your own account; ThetaWiz streams your positions, marks and Greeks from it. Schwab accounts don't include GEX or futures yet.
Does ThetaWiz place trades?
No. ThetaWiz is read-only decision support. It never places, modifies, or cancels orders — you act in your own broker.
What data do you store?
Your account email and subscription status, and the portfolio records the app needs (positions, trade history, account snapshots, strategies, settings, notifications, and — on Pro — scheduled briefings and Ethan's memory). Live quotes and Greeks stream from your broker and are not stored or redistributed. Broker credentials, OAuth tokens and app credentials are kept on your computer (in the OS keychain by default, or a local file or your own HTTP secrets service if you configure one). Broker sign-in and token refresh go directly between your computer and your broker — your broker tokens never pass through our servers. Which operating systems are supported?
Windows (Beta) and Linux (Beta). macOS is coming soon.
What do I need for Pro?
Your own AI: a Claude or ChatGPT plan (used through the Claude Code or Codex CLI on your machine), or an Anthropic or OpenAI API key. ThetaWiz doesn't resell AI usage.
What does the free trial include?
14 days with Pro features included. No card required.
What is founding pricing?
The first 100 paying members get Base at $39/mo or Pro at $79/mo, locked for as long as the subscription stays active. A founding Base member who upgrades to Pro pays $79.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Where does my data go when I use Ethan?
Your questions and the book context Ethan needs are sent to the AI provider you connected (Anthropic or OpenAI, directly or through their CLI), under your account and that provider's terms. Ethan's memory of how you trade is stored on your computer and synced to your ThetaWiz account. Security & data.
